I'm So Sorry For Your Loss, My Dear Classmate..

Again.
another bad news about death comes from my dearest classmate.
Her mother passed away after suffering from breast cancer for 4 years.

I still remember how she could hide her pain inside.
she always looks fine in the classroom.
she laughs and cheers a lot with other classmates.

when my father was sick and the doctor eventually gave the diagnosis, I just felt so depressed.
she came and cheered me up.
she always told me to be strong.
firstly I thought how easy she told me like that as she never knew how it felt.
then she said that her mom suffered the same disease, cancer. and her mom has struggled for 4 years.
what I have to be grateful here is that others might have a deeper pain than mine.
I can learn others'.

they can survive although they have a painful heart. They just move on.
thinking our pain won't change anything. it just makes our life feel more miserable.

my classmate has prepared for anything which might happen to her mom.
until the day her mom passed away, she seemed so relieved, instead of looking at her mom suffered in ICU.
I'm so sorry for your loss, my dear classmate.
I'm sure God will never let you get through this alone..
God has saved your mom in heaven, the best place for her right now and ever after.

Terbangun pagi ini dengan perasaan setengah tidak percaya.

I read news at one of liverpudlian (it's what Liverpool FC fan is called) twitter account that Daniel Agger got angry with a security who didn't permit him to meet and gave signatures to his fans.
aku kepikiran aja, eh sampai terbawa mimpi.

This Liverpool visit is so memorable because this is their first tour in Indonesia.
The fantastic captain, Steven Gerrard looks so charming. belum ada deh yang ngalahin kharisma dia sebagai pemain bola paling loyal (walaupun Daniel Agger tetep nomer satu buat aku.hehe)
seluruh tim Liverpool FC sangat terpukau dengan antusiasme BIGREDS (komunitas pecinta Liverpool FC) dan bahkan sang manager, Brendan Rodgers juga berkata bahwa atmosfer GBK seperti di Anfield.
di tengah skitar 80.000 penonton yang menyaksikan langsung di Stadion Gelora Bung Karno, Jakarta, Liverpool FC mengeluarkan tim terbaik dan bisa dibilang paling senior di babak pertama, kemudian menghadirkan tim juniornya di babak kedua.
pertandingan berakhir 2-0 dan membawa kemenangan bagi Liverpool lewat tendangan manis Philippe Coutinho dan Raheem Sterling.

Welcome, the real life of being an MM UGM student! :)))))

Tanggal 4 Juli 2013 kemarin adalah tanggal keramat bagi mahasiswa PRA MM UGM batch 62 (angkatanku nih). Kami semua menunggu nasib apakah kami akan lulus dan memasuki semester 1 sebagai the real student of MM UGM. Dari pagi sms dari akademik MM UGM tidak kunjung muncul dan kami sekelas (kelas B) semakin heboh berbagi nervousness di Blackberry Messenger ataupun WhatsApp. Jam 2 siang, akhirnya berita yang kami tunggu datang juga. Akademik MM UGM memberitakan pengumuman kelulusan PRA MM UGM batch 62 sekaligus memberikan username dan password untuk mengakses nilai kami di Sintesis (Sistem Informasi Terpadu Ekonomika dan Bisnis).

PUJI TUHAN!! Praise the Lord. Aku lulus! Walaupun tidak straight A seperti yang aku harapkan dan impikan, but at least no C in my transcript. Apalagi dengan backgroundku yang sama sekali bukan dari IPS atau ekonomi. I imagined that I had to do my remidial for Introduction to Financial Management and Introductory to Economics for Managers.

Ternyata Tuhan baek banget. Tuhan bener2 liat kerja kerasku. Although I felt there’s no hope anymore when I did the exam, God helped me so that I kept doing my best. Apapun yang terjadi, aku tetap ingin melakukan yang terbaik. Dengan persiapan yang matang dan doa yang kuat juga. Believe me, God never leaves. In a stuck moment, God always have a way to help.

Ketika aku nggak bisa mengerjakan tugasku (everything about stock portfolio), God sends Piwi and Mario to help me. Piwi is my friend since when I was in Senior High School. She’s also my dormmate. Mario is her friend in Atma Jaya University Yogyakarta. They did a lot for me. So thanks a bunch for them. I thank them for their patience, their time, and the most important thing is their sincerety. Gilak deh sabarnya mereka waktu ngajarin aku dari awal mengenai keuangan dan saham. And they always build my confidence. That’s why I love them, they believe that I can, although I’m not sure about myself.

Dear bloggers whoever you are, who like reading my blog, when you face difficulties in your life, never give up. 

No worries.

Tell God what you feel and God must give you what you need.

Things won’t change if you worry and let those difficulties haunt you. but, believe me, things will change if we have more faith.

I learn from this ‘graduation’ that life was so hard for me for last half a year because my dad is sick. I had to spare my time between family and my own study. I broke up with my boyfriend two months ago. Everything changed at one time. But now I realize that God has bigger plans for me.

Tuhan mengirimkan orang-orang di samping kita sesuai waktunya. If that time was the perfect time to break up with my boyfriend, it really was. Toh aku bahagia dengan hidupku yang sekarang. I’m free to do what I love, what I want to catch. Aku fokus menemani bapak sampai sembuh dan merasa lebih dekat dengan keluarga. Now, I graduate!

Semua memang indah pada waktunya.

It’s not easy in the beginning. It feels so hard to live on, but if you keep in your faith, the end will be much much better. Time will heal and tell. 

Keep trusting, God is always good. Forever Good.

this is my second week of holiday and I'm sitting at my desk, keep focusing to do my duty --> making "Career Potential Review" proposal.
but, "sharing" is one of my hobbies.
so, let me share what I'm thinking along this day before I get back to my work :)

Hmm.today, I went shopping to Superindo (one of popular supermarkets in Indonesia) to buy some bell peppers for cooking. here I tell you, 9.30 AM is the best time to shop here because the vegetables and fruits are already well-selected through tight inspection and ready to sell!

aannddd. this is the highlight!
so many times I dream of tasting NUTELLA, the famous hazelnut chocolate jam manufactured by Ferrero, Italian company which was so popular since 1964. and my student told me that Niall Horan, one of One Direction members, is so into this kind of spread.
call me 'retarded', but I think this is the right time to try the most favorite chocolate jam in the world.
So, I decided to buy nutella and put it in my trolley.
priced at Rp 35,000.00 I think this is worth tasting, mates!I have tried it by matching it with a bread :) So Yum! who's anyone of you has the same opinion with me?

Okay, I think that's all I wanna share.

Cloudy Thursday

OMG. It's already Thursday and I haven't blogged since Monday.

how's your day by the way, everyone?
I hope you have a good day and all of your plans run smoothly.If not, just take a deep breath and say, "shit happens." but, always be grateful for whatever happens to your life. life must teach us. life shapes us :)
I read a phrase about life in tumblr one day, "Life is 10% of what happens to you and 90% of how you respond to it. So, life is life. whether it's good or bad, it's just the matter you view it. Believe that there must be a reason behind all things happen to us. and they must be good for our fully developed as a person.


By the way, I watched ARGO this afternoon and really I told you.this movie is really worth watching!
my heart beat fast from the beginning until the end. Although the overall movie can be concluded as thriller movie, the end is so touching. and the most important that you have to know is that Argo is based on true story.
Ben Affleck, you really rock! I can't imagine how hard you worked for this project; as a director, a producer, and an actor. a brilliant package!

Movie watching is always fun. when you are under pressure, please do watch a movie.
I can guarantee life feels better.:)))) hmmm.just don't take horror movies (I guess).

There's another thing I want to share here.
I've just got a bad news about my senior's mom.
He is my senior when I studied English Education Study Program in Sanata Dharma University. He can be a good brother and a good friend in one. I can share many things with him because he loves reading (so he has wide knowledge) and smart.
He and her girlfriend are getting married in this weekend, but sadly God has another plan for him.
This morning he and his girlfriend married in chapel of one of popular hospitals in Yogyakarta because his mom was in serious condition. and the bad news is his mom passed away this evening because of her renal failure.

I still can't believe what was going on to him. we always keep in touch through whatsapp but he never told me about his mom. he kept asking about my dad.
from this incident, I remembered what my classmate said, "sometimes people don't share their stories in detail, their problems. they just don't want to make other people feel burdened or feel sorry.they believe they can survive and solve their problems alone."

He never tells me about his difficult problems but he asked about my problem.
he never looks sad in twitter and any other social media. he always looks fine and I see him as a man with perfect life.
but seeing him this night in hospital, although he smiles to everybody, I can feel his grief :(
please accept my deepest condolence, Mas. Mom is now happy and living in peace with Jesus in heaven.
you can get through this..you are a good man and Jesus really loves you.

Ribs Soup and "Now You See Me" for perfect Monday^^

apapun yang terjadi di harimu, baik atau buruk menurut kalian, c'est la vie. at least you learn something from them.

Hari ini ibuk masak sop iga. nobody, no chef, no foodcourt, can beat this ribs soup. it's the most delicious soup ever.:))))) ditambah lauk tahu goreng dan sambal manis kesukaan keluarga. there's no more perfect lunch I guess. Someday maybe you can visit my house and taste it by yourselves^^

In the afternoon, my younger sister and I have planned to watch the movie entitled "Now You See Me".

My college friends recommended it to me and all they say was 'What a Brilliant Movie!' that's what makes me so curious how brilliant the movie is.
Then, we went to cinema XXI at Solo Square, one of the malls in Surakarta, Central Java.
udah deg2an karena antri panjang dan terancam telat beberapa menit. aaaanndd..ditambah lagi ada ibu2 ribet yang nyerobot barisan dan minta buru2 dilayani padahal baru mau nonton nanti malem :((((( I ain't gonna stereotype all of that kind of mothers or "ibu2", tapi udah ke sekian kali mendapati ibu2 yang suka nyerobot barisan tanpa peduli dengan antrian di belakangnya. and they just show their innocence. What the.....>.<

Yup, here we seated in D8 and D9. it's located in the center of the room. Perfect space!
we're already late for 5 minutes. that's okay.
walopun ketinggalan 5 menit tapi kita tidak tertinggal point penting dari film Now You See Me ini.
Ada Isla Fisher (the sexy and beautiful actress who acts as Becky in Confessions of a Shopaholic), Jesse Eisenberg (the most annoying Mark Zuckenberg in Social Network movie), Dave Franco (the cute, the brother of James Franco-pangling banget sama senyum dan matanya, brother alike lah.hehhee), Mark Ruffalo (berkali2 aku nonton film Holywood yang ada si aktor ini, in Just Like Heaven, Iron Man 3, 13 Going on 30, and now in this awesome movie). Yang gak kalah populer ada si Morgan Freeman, yang biasanya jadi orang baik, kali ini dia jadi antagonis.
jadi film Now You See Me tells us about 4 magicians in one team who name them Four Horsemen. They host a show which is always attended by thousand people. yang unik dari sini adalah tema mereka adalah bank-robbing. this is why they always be the enemy of police.show mereka selalu berakhir dengan membagikan uang kepada para penonton.
ada lagi tagline yang unik juga dari film ini: THE CLOSER YOU LOOK, THE LESS YOU'LL SEE.
couldn't agree more! Try to enjoy this movie from the beginning until the end. don't ever think about what's happening, even what happens next. semakin kita mikir, kita akan kehilangan banyak adegan.
Wow, this movie is full of magic tricks! this is why I call this a new 'touch' of box office movie :))))

Hey! Holiday is calling..

Hi, everybody!

Actually this is not the first time I make a blog.

I made it through another blogger service but with more serious content (because it's for my "Language Teaching Media" assignment when I was in my semester 5).

And now I'm having my 'long break time' after I passed my final exams of my pre-MBA study. I just wonder what things I am going to do for this 60 days of the break.

Inspired by Julie and Julia movie that I watched 3 weeks ago, I've found that writing a blog and sharing my experiences might be a good idea. it's not only about complicated things happen to our lives, but maybe the simple things happened that can change our mindset and point of view so we can feel more and more grateful  :)

And tharaaaaa!! Here I proudly present my 'piece of writing masterpiece'. Today is my starting point to write and share to all of you, lovely people.
